Home is composed of countless individuals with one as the unit. One is the beginning and the whole.

Home is the place of the heart. Home is your last island. 
 Yiyu home, a small furniture brand in Hangzhou, was founded in 2013 by four designers. Furniture not only reflects a person's character and preferences, but also shows a person's understanding and attitude towards life. Yiyu hopes to express himself through the media of furniture and household products, so as to arouse the resonance of the same people. The bigger vision is to use modest strength to improve the public's aesthetic taste for home, so as to create a better life.At the start-up stage, Yiyu found derelab, hoping to build a highly recognizable visual system.



After receiving this proposition, we first created an enterprise logo. According to our investigation of Yiyu furniture, the whole style tends to be "cutting-edge" and "contemporary". Moreover, they are more exquisite in the material and shape of the products. Furniture is mostly a combination of "wood" and "iron", full of sense of industry, skeleton and strength. Therefore, we selected a representative component in the furniture, extracted its geometric lines, and then completed the logo design through replication and joint design methods. The logo designed in this way is extremely consistent with the industrial minimalism and rational aesthetics presented by Yiyu furniture. Moreover, although the lines of the logo are thin, there is a feeling of outward expansion, which looks very powerful. This is also consistent with the cutting-edge and avant-garde furniture character of Yiyu.



Then we derived VI. Similarly, we extract the local elements of furniture, then change them with design techniques, and finally form a visual vocabulary with unity and integrity.In addition, we also contributed to the style formulation of websites and publicity materials.



As a start-up company, it is often difficult to go through the process from scratch. In the case of insufficient funds and limited marketing means, only relying on strong visual output and expression can we quickly pull out the gap with peers, effectively output brand values and occupy the highland of the industry. We are very happy to help Yiyu finish this "homework" and witness its rebirth in a cool way!

家由无数以一为单位的个体构成,一是开始,也是全部。

家,心之所安处。家,就是自己最后的岛屿。
一屿家居,杭州小众家具品牌,成立于2013年,由四位设计师创立。家具,体现了一个人的性格和喜好,亦能展现一个人对生活的理解和态度。一屿期望,用家具及家居用品这些媒介来表达自己,从而引起相同人的共鸣。更大的愿景是,期望能用微薄的力量,提升大众对于家居的审美品位,进而创造更美好的生活。初创阶段,一屿找到Derelab,希望打造一个极具识别性的视觉体系。

接到这个命题,我们首先打造了企业LOGO。根据我们对一屿家具的考察,整个风格偏向“前沿”、“当代”。并且,他们对产品的材料和造型都比较考究。家具大多是“木”与“铁”的结合,充满了工业感、骨骼感和力量感。于是,我们选取了家具里一个具有代表性的部件,从中提取了它的几何线条,然后通过复制、联合的设计手法,完成了LOGO的设计。这样设计出的LOGO与一屿家具呈现出的工业极简、理性美学是极其吻合的。而且,虽然LOGO的线条纤细,但有一种向外扩张的感觉,看上去是非常有力量的。这也吻合了一屿新锐、先锋的家具性格。

然后我们进行了VI的衍生。类似的,我们对家具的局部元素进行抽取,然后用设计手法进行变化,最终组构了一个具有统一性和完整性的视觉语汇。此外,我们亦贡献了网站、宣传物料的风格制定。

作为一个初创公司,要经历从无到有,这个过程往往是很艰难的。在资金并不充裕,营销手段有限的情况下,唯有依靠强视觉的输出和表达,才能快速拉出与同行的差距,有效输出品牌的价值观,占领行业高地。我们很开心帮助一屿完成了这个“作业”,以一种很酷的方式见证了它的新生!
